It seemed like a miracle that our President was able to convince BP to establish a $20 billion escrow fund to compensate those hurt by the oil plume in the Gulf of Mexico . After all, he had no constitutional power to force them to do so; so had to resort to Chicago-style negotiating.

I happened to see Cliffe Laborde this past weekend at a wedding and we were discussing his letter. I found out that within 48 hours of Obama issuing a moratorium on deep water drilling that the Brazilian National Oil Company contacted them and wanted to lease all their vessels. I find it awfully "strange" that this would occur since George Soros and one of his hedge funds (in addition to being a major stockholder) is financing the Brazilian Oil Co's offshore operation! The fact that George Soros owns Obama and the Democratic party should not have any bearing on this event. Nice to own people in powerful positions.
